1. Clogherhead Seaside 5k
We were delighted to be the main sponsor of this years Clogherhead Seaside 5k. It was a great afternoon down by the coast, really well organised by the committee and a brilliant turnout from the community.
Thankfully the rain stayed away for a few hours and made the day one to remember. We are thrilled at the opportunity to help such a great local tradition in the community of Clogherhead.
2. Rock Celtic F.C
Connect CU had the privilege of being invited to the unveiling of Rock Celtics new team jerseys. In this year’s sponsorship program, Connect Credit Union were delighted to support local football club Rock Celtic by kitting out players with new jerseys for the upcoming season.
With Rock Celtic’s community ethos mirroring that of the credit union, Connect CU where were delighted to give back to the local football club by sponsoring these .

Our committee and coaches work very hard to create the best facilities and environment for our 500+ boys and girls and 100 adults to enjoy their football. 3. Gle-geal Gaíre
Connect Credit Union was delighted to be able to support the Gle-geal Gaíre as they developed their recording CD, helping them capture and preserve the music they love to play.
Gle-geal Gaíre is a local traditional Irish music group made up of elderly members who meet weekly in mid Louth to enjoy playing music together. Through these sessions, the group has created a strong sense of friendship, connection and shared culture.
4. Kilsaran National School Parents Association
We were happy to support the Parents Association at Kilsaran National School as they were preparing for their Christmas Draw. The money raised helped to fund the swimming buses for the students and various other activities organised by the Parent's Association.

5. Termonfeckin Ladies GFC
We were proud to sponsor the match ball for the Termonfeckin Ladies Senior Team in their final against St. Patrick’s in October.
A huge congratulations to the team on making history and bringing home their first ever Senior Football Title!

6. Stabannon Parnells GFC
Stabannon Parnells GFC brought the community together in September! From the juvenile presentation to the opening of their new stand, friends, families and supporters from across the area turned out in force.
We were thrilled to present the men’s and women’s senior teams with new kit bags and to see first-hand just how strong and connected the local community truly is!
