Blackrock Green Energy Information Evening

Most conversations about home energy upgrades start with the same question: “Where do I even begin?” That’s exactly what the Blackrock Green Energy Information Evening helped answer.

Local experts from Eco Energy Improvements and Heat Pumps Ireland were on hand speaking with homeowners about solar panels, heat pumps and the practical steps involved in making homes warmer and more energy efficient. It was great to see such a strong turnout from the community, with plenty of people calling in throughout the evening to ask questions and learn more.

A big thank you as well to The Geraldines, Rock Celtic, Blackrock Social Club, Blackrock and Haggardstown Tidy Towns and Blackrock Community Centre for helping promote the event locally a great example of the community in Blackrock pulling together.

For us, the evening reflects the wider role credit unions can play in supporting sustainable communities.
