Connect Credit Union Launches “The Big Upgrade” Home Energy & EV Event in Dundalk

Connect Credit Union is delighted to announce The Big Upgrade, a free Home Energy & EV Event taking place at the Gateway Hotel, Dundalk, on Thursday 1 October 2026 from 6.30pm to 9.00pm.

Designed to help homeowners make informed decisions about improving their homes and reducing energy costs, The Big Upgrade will bring together local suppliers, energy professionals, electric vehicle specialists and industry experts under one roof for an evening of information, advice and inspiration.

Whether you're considering solar panels, heat pumps, insulation, windows and doors, electric vehicles or home energy grants, the event will provide an opportunity to speak directly with the people behind the products and services, compare options and learn more about the supports available.

Throughout the evening, attendees will have the chance to:

• Explore electric vehicles on display
• Learn about SEAI grants and supports
• Discover practical ways to improve home energy efficiency
• Speak directly with industry experts
• Learn about Greenify finance options
• Attend a live expert panel discussion featuring representatives from the SEAI and industry professionals

The event has been developed to help local homeowners navigate the growing range of energy upgrade options available and gain practical, unbiased advice that can help them take the next step on their energy journey.

In addition to exhibitor stands and expert advice, all registered attendees will be entered into a prize draw to win a signed Louth jersey, which will be presented on the night by Craig Lennon.
